1.  Schedule your final walk-through before closing day so that if there are issues to be resolved you have time to work them out.  The closing is not the time to work out problems.

2.  Never schedule Friday closings.  If there is a glitch at least you won't have to wait through the weekend to get it satisifed. 

3.  Stay in constant contact with all parties involved in the transaction.  Buyers, sellers, attroneys, loan officers, lenders, appraisers, inspectors, etc. Contact them all one week before the closing to be sure everything is a "go", if not see how you can help.

4.  Follow the transaction through the entire process.  That way you will know when problems arrive & can take action to correct them.

5.  Schedule moving trucks the day AFTER closing.  In the event that something unforseen happens at the closing, that is one less stress you will have to deal with.

6.  Have the mortgage/lender's phone number handy in case you need to reach them.
